Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the sole distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, successfully hosted the Creta EV Launch and Meet & Greet in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

With the introduction of the all-new Creta EV, Hyundai Nepal is addressing the common concerns of customers who are hesitant about switching to electric vehicles, such as spare parts availability, service costs, and long-term brand support.

However, Laxmi Hyundai is further strengthening the EV ecosystem by expanding the RE-Lax charging network, which currently has 66 active chargers, including both DC and AC types, across various locations nationwide. Customers can therefore enjoy the same trusted service, parts availability, and after-sales support across both variants.

To spread this message across the country, Hyundai Nepal’s senior management team is visiting showrooms nationwide. As part of this initiative, a special Meet & Greet event was organized at Pinnacle Trading Pvt. Ltd. on 12th May 2025, where new Hyundai models, including the Creta EV, were showcased. This event received an excellent response from the attendees. Five Creta EVs were delivered directly to the customers from the event.

The Creta EV is priced starting at Rs. 51,96,000, while the locally assembled Creta ICE begins at Rs. 53,96,000. The ICE model benefits from a price reduction of up to Rs. 9 lakh compared to the imported 2025 versions.

In Nepal, the Creta EV comes with a 42 kWh battery pack that delivers 99 kW (132 bhp) and offers a driving range of 390 km. It boasts a 200mm ground clearance and a breakover angle exceeding 17 degrees, the highest in its class, making it capable of handling light off-road terrains.

For safety, the Creta EV is equipped with advanced features such as ADAS, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera, providing comprehensive protection for all passengers.
